Join us for an afternoon haiku workshop at the Glasshouse Mountains Retreat Centre. Suitable for beginners and experienced writers alike, the afternoon includes an introductory session, a forest walk with mountain views, an outdoor writing workshop, a haiku sharing circle, and concludes with Japanese tea and mochi sweets.

Bring: walking shoes, hat, jacket, water bottle, notebook and pen.

Venue: Glasshouse Mts Retreat Centre (Namgyalgar) 206 Glasshouse Woodford Rd, Glasshouse Mountains.

About your Facilitator:
Since 2000, writer, mentor and haiku lover Jan Cornall has taught writing at community colleges and universities including University of Technology Sydney and Western Sydney University. During this time a number of writers working with Jan have gone on to publish with major publishing houses. As well, through her company Writers Journey, she leads writing retreats and creative workshops in stunning international locations. In November 2026, Jan will lead her sixth Haiku Walking tour in Japan.
